Summary

This place is in Chinatown off of Hester St. We were looking for Cantonese style cuisine, and honestly there was nothing spectacular or bad.

The pea shoots with garlic had a taste of wine flavor to it, and was good.

The pepper salted pork chops was good as well. It would have been nice if they added more peppers and scallions.

The pepper salted shrimp was just ok for me. I felt it could’ve been fried a little more.

The beef lo mein was your run up the mill lo mein. Tasty albeit a little greasy but could’ve used a bit more high heat.

The dessert, which was free, was one of those hot soups that had some taro and some other stuff in it.

I’m sure all of the Cantonese restaurants in the city are pretty similar to this. I haven’t been to any that are flat out bad.

Final Verdict

Your decently good Cantonese restaurant. Pepper salted pork chops and pea shoots are where it’s at.
